- Advertisers can set a daily budget for their campaigns, and when the budget is met the ad stops running
- Advertisers bid the maximum they are willing to pay, but often are charged much less
- Retargeting helps advertisers reach visitors who don’t convert (i.e. buy) the first time they see an ad
